About Us

Welcome to my home in Lanchester.  After many years away, I was lucky enough to find Station House and returned home to the wonderful county of Durham in February 2022 and the village my parents so loved. 

 

Since leaving the hustle and bustle of office life and a work life balance that had always favoured work, to return home and buy Station House I have not only found a wonderful home but fulfilled my dream of one day owning and Bed & Breakfast.

Station House is the perfect home for me and my gorgeous pooch Iggy.  Built in 1852 and formerly Lanchester Railway Station with the railway platform as our terrace and vegetable garden, it provides a wonderful, quirky and peaceful home with additional sumptuous accommodation where guests can relax in comfort and style.

Nestled in the heart of the village, Station House hosts a maximum of 6 guests, two double Bed and Breakfast rooms and one holiday cottage for two, where we will be delighted to welcome you and provide you with the personal service and exceptional hospitality you deserve.
